Awards and Recognition

In the past year, NYSE Euronext has won awards for its ethical management, and its environmental and sustainable initiatives. We continue to make investments to set corporate social responsibility standards. 
In 2010, NYSE Euronext began systematically reporting a number of environmental measurements to set a baseline from which we will track future improvements. These include our global carbon footprint. Our measurements and reporting garnered awards and certifications from the Carbon Disclosure Project, the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and other important organizations.

Recent achievements include:

• Named to the Leadership Index within the Carbon Disclosure Project S&P500 List (2010)
• Named to Newsweek's "The Green Rankings" List
• 1st in Global Exchange Companies (2009, 2010)
• Part of the FTSE4 Good Index (2007-2010)
• Named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere Magazine (2011)
• ISO 14001 compliance
• Basildon data center became ISO/14001 compliant (2010)
• London office has been ISO/14001 compliant since 2007
