Wall Street Warfighters Visit the NYSE

On June 17th, the Wall Street Warfighters, a Philadelphia based in-residence course, whose mission is to identify, develop, and place disabled service veterans in the financial job sector, came to visit the New York Stock Exchange. During their visit they were given the opportunity to visit the trading floor for the Opening Bell and to meet with NYSE Euronext CEO Duncan Niederauer. The Wall Street Warfighters also attended a meet and greet with the 2013 NYSE Euronext Veterans Associates.

Rich Murphy, Wall Street Warfighters Program Director said “ Everyone associated with the Wall Street Warfighters Foundation is delighted with our partnership with the New York Stock Exchange! Our veterans received valuable briefings to enhance their understanding of the financial services industry. Visiting the NYSE is always a tremendous networking experience that opens potential career opportunities as well.”
